A regional lender serving Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah sought a way to increase its volume of new mortgage sales. Traditional lenders relied mainly on direct sales via telephone or walk-ins, supplemented by online referrals. A do-it-yourself mortgage app was developed that made it easy for consumers to view product options then apply for a loan and submit documents on their own, without the need to visit a bank or consult with a loan officer.
